How do I sign up?
Complete the form to submit an enquiry to Extend. They’ll then be in touch with you to schedule your fertility assessment, and from there explain the process including paying for your treatment with Gaia.
Who is eligible?
Anyone can use Gaia to pay for their egg freezing treatment. The only options that have eligibility criteria are the guarantees. You can see these above, for each option.
If I want to pay monthly, how does this work?
You can pay monthly for all or part of your Gaia Plan, providing the amount is at least $5,000. There are no early repayment fees, and we also offer 3 months interest-free. Approval and interest rate is subject to credit and affordability checks by Gaia.
How do Extend & Gaia work together?
Extend provides the care and your treatment at their fertility clinic. Gaia is the way to pay for treatment, giving you peace of mind that everything is taken care of so you can focus on your journey.
Can I have multiple egg freezing cycles?
Yes! After you have an initial consultation at Extend, you and your doctor will decide on the target number of eggs you want to freeze, and how many cycles you may need to get there.
How do I store my eggs?
Once you freeze your eggs, they need to stay in liquid nitrogen tanks until you’re ready to use them. You will need to store your eggs until you are ready to use them. You will set up your storage payment and renewal directly with Extend.
What is the process if I use my frozen eggs in the future?
An embryologist will thaw eggs and fertilize them with sperm, either from a partner or donor, in the hope of creating healthy embryos. Those embryos can be stored or transferred to the uterus to carry just like a “regular” pregnancy.
